Follow this step by step process before consuming water from the pot:

Step 1: Initial Rinsing and Cleaning

• Begin by rinsing the pots thoroughly under tap water to remove any dirt or dust.
• Once rinsed, gently scrub the pots using a coconut fiber scrub or Scrubby. Avoid using any dishwashing liquids or detergents to preserve the natural properties of the clay.
• After scrubbing, rinse the pots again to wash off any remaining residue.

Step 2: Soaking Process

• Fill a bucket with regular tap water and fully submerge the pot, ensuring it is completely covered.
• Let the pot soak undisturbed for one full day.
• On the next day, remove the pot, change the water, and immerse it in fresh tap water. Repeat this soaking process for a total of three days, changing the water daily.

Step 3: Final Cleaning

• After three days of soaking, take the pot out and give it a gentle scrub again without using any detergents.
• Rinse the pot thoroughly to ensure it is completely clean and free from any residue.

Step 4: Drying

• Allow it to dry completely. Ensure it is fully dried before use.
  

Step 5: Ready for Use

• Once the pot has dried well, it is ready to be filled with water. Your clay pot is now properly conditioned for daily use, providing naturally cool water.
