Our Terracotta Curd or Salt Pot brings functionality to the rustic style. This Curd or Salt Pot is made up of 100% natural, un-glazed clay and will keep any ingredient (salt, curd, herb, or spice) fresh and dry by absorbing excess moisture that might be present in it. 

Being natural and porous, it is also perfectly designed to hold thick and creamy curd and enhances the flavour and texture. You can add a natural component to your kitchen counter and dining room with this piece. It can be used in multi-functional ways - be it a practical storage option or to add a traditional aspect to your kitchen space.

How to clean the pot:
1. After every use, wash the lamp using mild soap and warm water, or by using salt or ash and a scouring pad.
2. Use no harsh detergents/soaps as it can only damage the porous surface.
3. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before packing away.

As with all handcrafted clay products, each set may slightly vary in shape, tone, or size, adding authenticity and charm to every piece. Small surface marks or irregularities are part of the natural firing process and are not considered defects.
Maintenance +
Maintenance:
If there appears to be a mold forming follow the steps to remove it effectively:
1. Mix equal parts vinegar or baking soda in equal parts water and place the solution in the pot. Bring it to a gentle boil for 20 minutes to disinfect and loosen the mold.
2. Scrub gently with a brush on the affected areas.
3. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and let it air dry completely.
4. To avoid the formation of mold, store in dry, ventilated areas. After wash, dry it completely in sunlight for not more than 30 minutes.
